How Hard Can You Be Hit And Still Move Forward?
April 7, 2007 |
I was travelling on Singapore Airlines recently and one the great things that they provide is a fully passenger-controllable in-flight film system. This is great if you are short flights, so I watched half the film on the oubound sector and fast-forwarded and finished the film on the return journey
What was the film?
Rocky Balboa - I was surprised too that I chose to watch this, however, I had read a quick review that said it was surprisingly good even though you knew what was going to happen
and it was short enough for me to finish it by the end of my return journey - isn’t it frustrating to miss the end of a film?
So what is the point?
Rocky was talking to his son who was having doubts about his self-worth and ability to succeed in his father’s limelight, and Rocky said something along the lines of:
It is not that you get hit in life because you will be hit in life
Because you will always be hit in some way at some time
It is how hard you can be hit and how often you can be hitAND
HOW MUCH YOU CAN KEEP GOING FORWARD TO YOUR DESIRED OUTCOME!
Best wishes to “Living With Abundance”
