The Law of Attraction and ‘Luck’

Part of my ability to succeed despite is based upon preparation
There are two definitions I love
One is from the golfer Gary Player:
“The harder I practice, the luckier I get”
The other is from Anthony Robbins:
“Luck is where Preparation meets Opportunity. Without Preparation, even with the right Opportunity, there is no ‘luck’ because the Opportunity cannot be taken advantage of and used”
So, the “Law of Attraction” to me is best summarized as:
Think well of both yourself and others and take action to prepare yourself for that ‘lucky’ event that you may attract to yourself

Do You Have Enough Time In The Day To Do What You Want?
This law of attraction is no ’secret’. Confidence is not something that has been hidden from anyone.
Anyone who buys into this really needs to read more widely to get a grasp of real human condition. Get out of Middle America and go to a poverty stricken country!

I enjoyed movie, “The Secret”. Part of the ’secret’ in the Law of Attraction is to be able to visualize.
Visualization is an important part of making the Law of Attraction work.
When we are able to vizualize vividly, and have strong desire of our intentions, the manifestation will come true.
Aside from all the wants, we must also remember to have an attitude of. Being happy and positive with whatever we have, the Universe will bring you more of what you want!

Hi…can’t agreed with you more that we need to get out of our comfort zone to see the real situation out there. Nevertheless, if we set a view or goal to help in any areas of our community we need a real dedicated mind and focus for the long run. Hence, I still think that this law of attraction will help those in this drive for any great cause in helping those to get out of poverty.
Very often it is always about sticking to a plan and working round it when you have a difficulty. The law of attraction will help you on that. In school we do not learn how to think, do we? This will be a supplement to what we had learn in school.

I certainly thin you are onto something with the “Science of Getting Rich” program and the Attraction Accelerator from Stephen Pierce!
I studied NLP ( a branch of Psychology) last year and achieved a Diploma and Certified Master Practitioner Status…..I’m not ‘guru’ but I guess I know what I’m talking about when it comes to the Power of the mind. When the Movie “The Secret” came out, I could not believe how similar the ‘Law of Attraction’ is to one of the basic NLP tenets “Think - Do - Get”.
I was actually expecting a whole lot more publicity around NLP and The Law OF Attraction than there has been, but I think your site is fantastic!

Great post there on the physics of the law of attraction. You seem to have found parts of the puzzle on how the ”Law of Attraction” as outlines in the movie “The Secret” interact with each other.

I love what you have to say. I am personally experiencing a life of abundance right now in the midst of my apparently extremely tough divorce and am happier than ive been in the past 15 years. I have less money now than ever before but i have travelled more this year and enriched myself more than in the past 15 years. “PEOPLE MUST PUT IN EFFORT TO BE SUCCESSFUL [OR LUCKY?]. e.g. THE LION IS KNOWN TO BE THE KING OF BEASTS; BUT IF HE DOES NOT GO AND HUNT FOR HIS FOOD, NO OTHER ANIMAL WOULD PUT THEMSELVES INTO ITS MOUTH!” HAHA!!!
